Retailers are beginning to notice an increasing interest in furniture for single bedrooms as older people choose to downsize their homes and move into retirement apartments. And it’s a trend set to increase as the country’s older population is growing.

We’re responding to this new demand, by offering the Kiruna Collection as a special package of single bed, three door robe, beside table and chest of drawers, to retail for less than £1,000. The package is also available with a 120cm /4ft sized bed for those who like a little more sleeping space.

Kiruna comes in light Virginia oak or warm Piedmont cherry finishes, plain or with additional profile trims; so it won’t overpower a smaller room. Wardrobe heights are a practical two metres – although separate storage boxes are also available. Wardrobes and beds are also available in a wide range of other sizes and configurations, so the model is not limited to the singles market.
